Objective: Students will be able to analyze the events in Chapter 12 to determine if their predictions about Alfred were true.

Do-Now: What do you believe motivates Alfred to succumb to peer pressure at the party?  Do you think his night of partying will lead him off the path to success as a boxer?  Explain why or why not.

Today: 1) Go over Exit Slips from Monday

2) Go over questions from Chapters 10-11

3) Class will read Chapter 12 and complete the review questions for the chapter

4) Begin reading Chapter 13 and begin completing the review questions for the chapter

Exit Slip: Look back at your prediction from your Do-Now.  Was your prediction accurate?  What do you believe motivated Alfred to continue boxing?  Do you believe this was the best decision for him?  Explain why or why not.

Homework: Finish reading Chapter 13 and complete the review questions for the chapter.
