Objective: Students will be able to characterize Amir and Hassan’s friendship in order to make inferences about each of the characters.

Do-Now: Describe Amir and Hassan’s friendship.  Are they really friends or is Hassan simply Amir’s servant?  Explain.

Today: 1) Review questions for Chapters 3-4 of "The Kite Runner."

2) Class will read Chapter 5 of "The Kite Runner" and complete the review questions for the chapter.

6) Read Chapter 6 of "The Kite Runner" and complete the review questions for the chapter.
