Today: 1) Review Exit Slips from Thursday.
2) Go over questions from Chapters 14-16.
3) Class will read Chapter 17 together and complete the review questions for the chapter.
4) Begin reading Chapter 18 and begin completing the review questions for the chapter.
Exit Slip: Jonas is upset because he feels love for his friends and family, but knows they cannot love him back. How can the absence of love be viewed as utopic? How can it be viewed as dystopic? Explain. Do you believe Jonas' community would benefit from love? Explain why or why not.
Homework: Finish reading Chapter 18 and complete the review questions for the chapter.
