Exit Slip: Why do you believe Caleb didn't stand up for Maleeka when she got teased the day they went to Washington, D.C.? Should Maleeka forgive him for not standing up for her that day? If you were Maleeka, would you forgive him? Why or why not?
Homework: Reflection - Think about a time when you stood up for someone or someone stood up for you. Write a reflection in which you describe the incident and explain why you stood up for this person (or why you believe this person stood up for you.) What happened as a result?
